Dog Whelping is the procedure of a dog giving birth to puppies. Many dogs are capable of whelping on their own without any trouble, but you should keep a close eye on your dog throughout their later stages of pregnancy and labour.
Nurturing a pregnant dog’s nesting instinct involves introducing her to the whelping box at least five days before her delivery date. This allows time for her to become adjusted and comfortable before the puppies are born.
