Semen Analysis

• Sperm testing to your dog can be done before your bitch is ready for mating. The sperm motility and concentration of the stud dog can be checked in advance for viability. At this time infections can be picked up and treated prior to the mating process.
• This can be done before the bitch is due to come in to season to assess for mobility and concentration. Also to see if there is any infection in the male that may need treating prior to mating, A.I or before transportation.
• It is also possible to see deformity of the sperm which may have previously led to missed matings.
